In honor of photosynthesis and the plants it sustains, Omni Ecosystems celebrates Photosynthesis Day one day every summer. We come together to celebrate sunlight, plants, and the benefits they provide.

This project transforms a 21-foot setback of a 1-acre vacant lot, just north of Omni’s headquarters and across the street from Bronzeville Classical School, into an immersive rewilding landscape. This creates a natural space for communal respite, relaxation and gathering, and provides habitat for native pollinators.

With nine private, lush green terraces including native planting and trees, a penthouse lounge and roof deck, and an abundance of greenery throughout, 800 Fulton adds texture to this already vibrant and bustling neighborhood, and provides a healthy office experience for all.

The North Union mixed-use development includes approximately 1.3 acres of public open space along with a variety of low-, mid- and high-rise buildings that consist of approximately 2,680 residential units and 30,000 SF of commercial space.

The school is also the first verified Net Zero Energy building in Illinois as acknowledged by the New Buildings Institute (NBI), LEED Schools Platinum, and the first Living Architecture Performance Tool (LAPT) Platinum certified project in the world.
