Two Omni Projects Recognized Among Best Green Roof and Green Wall Projects of 2020

Omni’s McDonald’s Headquarters and District House projects received this year’s Green Roof and Wall Awards of Excellence. The projects were featured in the Fall 2020 issue of Living Architecture Monitor on page 13 and page 18, respectively.

McDonald’s Headquarters
Category: Extensive Commercial/Industrial/Institutional
In a move that propelled McDonald’s from its previous corporate headquarters in Oak Brook, IL to downtown Chicago, judges praised this project for its robust design and its unique and comprehensive integrations.

District House
Category: Multi Unit Residential
Recognized for its self-regenerative nutritive media and proven illustration of the profitability of green infrastructure integrations, District House is a shining example of the value-add and financial impact Omni Green Roof provides.

Each year, the Green Roof and Wall Awards of Excellence recognize integrated design and installation excellence. The program reflects the ever evolving nature of the green roof and wall industry and honors the best and brightest representations of living architecture design and performance within the industry.
