We study existing conditions and modify them to meet the requirements of the program and those of the natural and urban environment. We know how to create landscapes that add value as well as mitigate and adapt to climate change. We strive to maximize the environmental performance of our designs. This entails deploying landscape as a tool to manage stormwater, to store carbon, to serve as a safe barrier to underlying contamination, and to manage wind, among other advanced outcomes. We design beautiful, functional landscapes that serve as elegant solutions to environmental challenges.

Our design is informed by constructability, maintainability, and science. Our multidisciplinary practice draws upon expertise from landscape architecture to microbiology, biology, ecology, soil science, horticulture, industrial design, construction, logistics, landscape management, and more.
