Omni Infinity Media® (OIM) is a lightweight, high-performance stormwater growth media used for predictable hydraulic performance, long-term stability, and rapid living soil formation in green stormwater infrastructure (GSI). Omni Infinity Media integrates geology and biology to create soil that performs both physically and ecologically. It includes two packaged components:

  • GEO – a lightweight mineral aggregate that provides pore space and long-term stormwater performance

  • BIO – a biological component that introduces the microbial communities necessary for soil development and ecosystem function

  • All of the landscape on the 4-acre Salt Shed is rooted in Omni Infinity Media. Use of OIM managed all required stormwater, eliminated off-site hauling, and provided significant cost savings compared to grey infrastructure.
