Omni Infinity Media is an effective solution for soils needed in brownfield redevelopment. It supports a wide variety of plantings above concrete slabs, asphalt paving, engineered soil barriers, construction fill, and local soil.

Use of Omni Infinity Media for brownfield redevelopment allows in-situ soils to remain in place—no removal, hauling, or disposal of contaminated soil required. It eliminates delays associated with sourcing clean soils, mitigating unsustainable harvesting of native soils. It weighs a fraction of typical topsoil and is delivered dry, thereby further reducing fuel & shipping costs as well as making for quick & easy installation.

Omni Infinity Media consists of GEO — a sterile, abundant geologic material — and BIO — laboratory grown biota.

  • GEO makes up more than 95% of Omni Infinity Media, is TACO Tier 1 compliant, and consistently and reliably meets clean soil testing standards without harvesting virgin topsoil.

  • BIO is a thin top-dressing, applied at 1/4” depth over any depth GEO to grow a soil ecosystem. BIO introduces the building blocks of soil development, including more than 1,500 species of microbes, some known to degrade contaminants.

  • Both GEO and BIO are made in America, peat free, and available nationwide with a short lead time.

  • More than 850 plant taxa are documented to have successfully grown in Omni Infinity Media. These include: turfgrass, seeded meadows, site-appropriate annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees.
